The Youth Elderly Service (YES) Intergenerational Program, addresses the critical challenges faced by Nigeria’s vulnerable ageing population while addressing the needs of a bulging youth population, giving them a sense of purpose and meaning. It helps to reconnect the youth via physical visitations to the elderly in Nigerian rural and urban communities promoting intergenerational learning and digital inclusion.

It is worthy to note that the elderly are prime targets of cyber attacks, hackers, and other forms of abuse by people(including family members). However the Youth Elderly Service Program through the partnership with National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) members all over Nigeria, integrates what we call the Ageing Care Online Platform that serves as an online learning and data collection platform that enables us carry out analysis to guide interventions for the most vulnerable across rural and urban communities in Nigeria.

This has helped us reach some of the most remote communities with data driven tailored interventions in the areas of health, shelter, clothing, environmental etc. that meet their actual needs.
