We-Care Medical Mission
We-Care Medical Mission is the theme for the DAGOMO Annual Medical Mission organized in honor of the late Vice Chairman of DAGOMO Foundation, Barr. Mrs. Grace Onaiwu Omoigui. It is a platform to promote the principles and practice of healthy aging, advocate for improved hygiene in the elderly, and promote access to continued health care for the underprivileged.
Objectives
In line with the core vision of DAGOMO Foundation, the medical mission fulfills the following objectives:
01. Promote the Principles and Practice of Healthy Ageing
Carry out free vital sign checks and consultations to identify cases for intervention and general wellness tracking.
02. Advocate for improved Hygiene in the Elderly
Distribute free hygiene packages and assessment of quality “Access to Care” through surveys.
03. Promote access to continued health care for the elderly:
Engage with partners to provide health insurance coverage to beneficiaries
04. Promote impact stories to drive fundraising and aging care advocacy
Media documentation of impact stories to scale awareness on necessary interventions needed in some of the most remote locations across Nigeria.
